A Japanese Dog
Finally took a little time off from the busy busy work life and decided to go to Dino’s house today. Well, main objective was to befriend his dog, Hans…but it went from befriending from him being to hyper. In heat kasi. Now I have scratch marks all over my arm but it was all good, at least the dog likes me now. Haha.
What was fun was Dino made me watch a bunch of Japanese commercials, which I ended up liking anyway since haha~ some were really funny and we’re both obsessed with Japanese hair color anyway. I am seriously buying a bubble foam hair color after I get my hair straight. :D
So much for the influence of Japanese SNSD perfs and Japanese commercials, Dino and I decided to look for Hapadog, which I kept telling him was in SM Sky Garden for quite some time now. The first time I think we encountered the place was actually during our night out with Jet, Poch and Bea in Mercato in The Fort. Dino and I decided to give it a try but before that, we chowed on isaw and balut…cheap thrills. :D
Anyway so we found - HAPADOG!!

Hapadog - original Japanese-style hotdogs. Yes, a very Asian twist to the all-American treat. What makes it’s different - well for one was the tempura batter on the hotdog which we had. Too bad I didn’t bring home a flyer but anyway, there other variations. Simply hotdog sandwiches turned Japanese (wasabi, katsudon-like, teriyaki sauces) which we both enjoyed.

We ordered the Hapadog with the breaded hotdog + bonito flakes which was said to be their bestseller. Dino and I decided to share since we spent our money on isaw and balut -__-”. This one costs around Php175 for a whole Hapadog, the half Hapa would be around 75-85php.
What really made us enjoy the treat (aside from the tasty Hapadog) was the Ramune. Japanese soda, y’all. Ramune = Lemonade but too bad they didn’t have the lemonade one so we had the one that almost tasted like bubblegum soda (Dino says it’s the lemon one but fiiiine~ tastes like bubblegum to me) Still yummy though.

This is the “Shanderia brand” Ramune which we had earlier. You have to push down the marble that’s blocking the opening with the thingie for pushing it down. My ramune opening was kind of fail since some of the fizz spilled on our table. The staff laughed with us at our antics and fascination with the drink and the marble.
Ramune in Hapadog is around Php75. Not bad. Since Chilsung Cider is now mainstream, might as well go for Ramune now XDDDD Fickle minded-Aya.

Here’s to me enjoying my ramune drink! I feel so Japanese after watching so many Japanese cfs in Dino’s house then going to Hapadog for a traditional summer festival drink in Japan! Yes, now I must become a gyaru!
Hehe, of course, when eating out, we camwhore like dorks~♥
